Object Speciication Logic
A logic for specifying and reasoning about object classes and their instances (aspects) is presented and illustrated. This logic is an extension of a rather standard linear temporal, many-sorted, rst-order predicate logic with equality. The extensions where designed to be as simple as possible while supporting the envisaged locality of arguments, object specialization and object aggregation. Ob...
متن کاملFrom Programs to Object Code using Logic and Logic Programming
A compiler may be speci ed by a description of how each construct of the source language is translated into a sequence of object code instructions. If the machine that interprets the object code is speci ed in the source language itself, then the compiler may be veri ed using algebraic laws about the programming language constructs. By adopting a subset of the programming language occam, we can...
متن کاملDistributed Contingency Logic and Security
In information security, ignorance is not bliss. It is always stated that hiding the protocols (let the other be ignorant about it) does not increase the security of organizations. However, there are cases that ignorance creates protocols. In this paper, we propose distributed contingency logic, a proper extension of contingency (ignorance) logic. Intuitively, a formula is distributed contingen...
متن کاملDistributed object oriented logic programming
In this paper we introduce a programming language/system DK Parlog ++ which is an experimental testbed for distributed applications, particularly distributed AI and distributed knowledge base applications. The language is designed to have the concurrent computation ability of the Concurrent Logic Programming(CLP) languages, the knowledge representation and problem solving ability of Prolog, bot...
متن کاملA Logic for Object - ZGraeme
This paper presents a logic for Object-Z which extends W, the logic for Z adopted as the basis of the deductive system in the Z Base Standard. The logic provides a basis on which tool support for reasoning about Object-Z speciications can be developed. It also formalises the intended meaning of Object-Z constructs and hence provides an abstract, axiomatic semantics of the language.
